Sterling silver is soft. Softer than steel, softer than a key, softer than most of what it will share a pocket with. Jewellery is usually made with that in mind and kept away from the things that would mark it.
This one is not. It carries a carabiner and it is meant to go in with the keys.
So it will not stay as I made it. The faces will dull, the edges will pick up the small bright scratches silver takes, and in a year it will be a different object from the one in these photographs. It is the only thing I make where the wear is part of the design.
